Find Helix Jump on Google Play and install it for free. Launch the app — the tutorial level begins automatically with no sign-up required.
Step 2 — Understand the Tower
Each level is a vertical helix made of stacked ring platforms. Some segments are open (safe to pass through) and others are solid or marked in red (deadly on contact).
Step 3 — Control the Rotation
Press and hold anywhere on the screen to spin the helix clockwise. Release to stop. Your ball falls continuously — align the gaps beneath it before it lands on a solid platform.
Step 4 — Pass Through Gaps
Each successful pass through an open segment adds to your combo counter. Keep the streak alive by planning one or two platforms ahead rather than reacting at the last moment.
Step 5 — Activate Fireball Mode
After several consecutive clean passes, your ball ignites into a fireball. In this state it destroys multiple platforms on contact, letting you plunge through large sections of the tower rapidly.
Step 6 — Reach the Bottom
Clear all platform rings and land on the final base to complete the level. A brief celebration plays, then the next tower loads with new colours and tighter gap spacing.
Controls at a Glance
Single-Finger Input
Helix Jump uses one-finger controls only. Hold to rotate the tower, release to pause rotation. There are no virtual joysticks, button combos, or complex gesture patterns.
No Timed Buttons
Unlike platformers with jump buttons, the ball moves on its own. Your entire focus goes toward reading the tower layout and timing your rotations — a pure reflex challenge.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Rotating too aggressively and overshooting the gap alignment
- Ignoring red trap segments hidden between safe platforms
- Panicking after a near-miss and making rushed rotations
- Losing fireball momentum by hitting a solid platform mid-combo
